for the 27th DeGEval Annual Conference 2024 at the University of Potsdam
Submission process
- Submission phase: November 10, 2023 to March 17, 2024
- Please submit your abstract with a maximum of 2,500 characters including spaces (for complete sessions with a maximum of 5,000 characters including spaces) via our conference management system and please follow the instructions for submission listed there.
- Please refer to the call for the annual conference to find out about the different types of contributions and what information is required for submission.

Review process
All contributions will be reviewed by at least two reviewers in an anonymous review process.
- If you mark your contribution with a keyword containing the abbreviation "(AK)" when submitting it, at least one of the two reviews will be prepared by the corresponding DeGEval working group, thus ensuring the field-specific expertise of the reviews.
- At least one review each comes from the Program Committee.
- You will receive notification of the acceptance of your abstract by May 31, 2024.
- You will receive the assessments of the criteria listed below as well as any openly formulated feedback in anonymized form.
Review criteria
All contributions will be evaluated in an anonymous review process. The following criteria, among others, will be taken into account when deciding on submissions
- Quality of content and methodology
- Comprehensibility of the abstract (problem definition, approach, main arguments, evaluation focus, subject-specific topicality)
- Innovative content
- Cross-policy perspective
- Relevance to the conference topic
Tips and hints for the preparation of abstracts

- Moderation (name and institution)
