Schools

As a professional network, the Schools Working Group aims to support all stakeholders in all forms of evaluation in the school sector.

In addition to the traditional fields of internal and external school evaluation, the Schools Working Group also promotes the evaluation of measures and programs initiated by education policy.

To this end, the working group provides a forum for exchange and professionalization for those involved in evaluation in the education administration, in state institutes, in evaluation offices, in schools and school networks, outside state institutions and in academia. Annual occasions for this are the working group meetings at the DeGEval annual conferences, a two-day working group spring conference and a half-day online exchange meeting on current topics.

The members and interested parties come from Germany, Austria, South Tyrol, Switzerland and German-speaking Belgium. The work of the working group is based on the international exchange of experience in German-speaking countries.
